Creating a playful brand identity and logo design for a dog grooming start up

Developing a distinctive brand identity for a new dog grooming business built around personality, care and community.
Robyn & Friends approached Stone + Boulder as a start up dog grooming business in need of a strong and memorable brand identity. With the company name inspired by the owner’s dog, the brand naturally carried a playful feel. The aim was to create a visual identity that captured that personality while positioning the business as professional and trustworthy within its local community.
The identity needed to feel friendly and approachable while giving the business a strong presence amongst other local groomers. A hand drawn wordmark became the centre of the identity, bringing warmth and character to the logo. This was supported by a custom illustration suite designed to reflect the individuality of different breeds and add personality across the brand.
Alongside the core identity, we created comprehensive brand guidelines and a suite of assets including marketing materials, flyer design, social media launch graphics and reusable templates. The result is a recognisable and cohesive brand that feels approachable, consistent and easy to apply across both print and digital platforms.
